An intense source of moisture for dehydrated skin. After a few days, the skin becomes firmer, fine wrinkles are smoothed out. The unique combination of active ingredients restores the moisture balance in the skin and strengthens its protective functions against the negative effects of the environment. The skin is moisturized to the deepest layers of the epidermis and this has a positive effect on turgor over several days, beta glucans reduce transepidermal loss of skin moisture. Filagrin-enhanced Stratum Corneum more easily overcome negative environmental effects. Stimulation of aquoporins activates the skin’s natural moisture factor.
MADECASSOSIDE (a growing component of Centella Asiatica on the island of Madagascar) is produced by a complex isolation process. It is an innovative material applied at various levels:
FILAGRINE STIMULATION. Filagrin is a skin protein that is formed during the process of skin hornification. It is responsible for the keratin filaments that support the adhesion of the stratum corneum and the structure of the Statum Corneum. AQUAPORINE STIMULATION. Each skin cell is surrounded by a membrane that protects the inside of the cell and also ensures the metabolism of nutrients between the cell and the intercellular tissue. Aquaporins (proteins that regulate water metabolism) are present in the cell membrane and they form water channels that are very important for the supply of water to skin cells. Madecassoside activates aquoporins to positively affect water metabolism in the skin, which also has a positive effect on skin tugor. Aquaporins were discovered only in 1992. The importance of this discovery in 2003 was marked by the awarding of the Nobel Prize.
BETA GLUCANES (extracted from the fungus Sclerotium Rolfsii), which belong to natural polysaccharides, have an excellent property of “binding” large amounts of water. Transepidermal moisture loss is limited or stopped – reducing moisture loss and ensuring the stability of the skin’s protective functions.
PASIFLORA FRUIT OIL is rich in linolenic acid, these acids maintain the function of the skin’s protective barrier, restore and stabilize, the skin regains softness.
CODIAVELAN is extracted from algae growing in the French archipelago of Brehal. This green Brittany algae is particularly rich in polysaccharides and minerals. These algae significantly and quickly achieve an increase in the moisture level in the skin, and moisturize the skin to the very bottom layers of the epidermis. In this way, a long-lasting moisturizing effect is achieved.
FUCOGEL – a biosaccharide from corn and soy. This material can raise the skin’s moisture level up to 79% and smooth out wrinkles and lines caused by dryness.
AVOCADO OIL supplements the product with linoleic and linolenic acids, as well as phytosterols – important skin-specific lipids needed to stabilize the skin’s barrier function. It maintains skin softness, smoothes dry, flaky areas of skin.
It is recommended to use it as a treatment for seborea sicca during the summer.
To use: Apply morning & evening to clean skin & massage gently.
